Acer the Taiwanese giant has just launched the Iconia Tab 8 ahead of Computex 2014 in its own country. The Android based tablet bears an 8-inch full HD display with Zero Air Gap technology and 16:10 aspect ratio at (1920 x 1200 pixels) resolutions. It is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom (Z3745) processor paired with 2GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat).
The device measures 8.5 mm thick and weighs 360 grams and a metallic silver rear cover that gives a premium look.

Other features on the device include, a dual speakers enabled with surround sound effect, Acer Touch WakeApp for the quick and easy wake up the Iconia Tab 8 with a simple touch gesture and (BYOC) features that enables users to build their own cloud on their devices. The company also promises up to 7.5 hours of battery life in normal use which is quite enough for a tablet user.
The Acer Iconia Tab 8 comes in two variants depending on its storage-16GB and 32GB and price start from from 199 Euros. It has a single color variant (White) and would go on sale in European markets.
