LG introduces Tab Book (11TA740-GA50K) Android based convertible with Core i5 processor


LG, the Korean device maker has added a new convertible device Tab Book (11TA740-GA50K), which is an android variant of last year launched device Tab Book 2 with Windows 8.1 OS.

Initially, the device would be available in snow white color and in its domestic market; there is no information on its global roll out and pricing.

 

In terms of specifications, the device has the similar specifications as the Windows variant. It comes with an 11.6-inch (1920 × 1080 pixels) full HD IPS display, powered by a 2.6GHz 4th Gen Intel Core i5 4200U processor with Intel HD Graphics 4400. It comes with a 4GB of RAM, 128GB of SSD and a Micro SD slot.

It has reader mode feature that decrease the display’s brightness for reading documents comfortably. A slider Keyboard comes with the Tab Book that makes device workable like a Notebook. It just measures 286 x 192 x 16.7mm in dimension and weigh at 1.05 kg. Other detail like battery backup is not yet confirmed.
