Samsung to unveil new tablets on June 12th at Galaxy Premiere 2014

Samsung has just sent out invites for the event dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Premiere 2014 to unveil the new Galaxy Tabs on June 12 in New York. The invite is more colorful and the Tab into Color caption in the invite hints at the upcoming Galaxy Tab Series rumored to be called Galaxy Tab S. Looking at the images here we can assume that it would be a sleek tablet.

At last year’s Premier 2013 event in London Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S4 mini, Galaxy S4 Zoom, Galaxy S4 Active,  and a range of ATIV devices. This year the rumors suggests two upcoming AMOLED screen tablets from Samsung viz. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 SM-T800, and Galaxy Tab S 8.4 SM-T700 . Reports suggests both are high-end products that will reportedly use Samsung’s latest octa-core Exynos 5420 processor and their AMOLED displays are said to have 560 x 1,600 pixel resolutions. Also expects are Android 4.4 KitKat, Magazine UX and 3GB of RAM.

Design-wise, the tablets looks similar to the new company’s new flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S5  having a doted pattern for the rear case.

The event is scheduled to begin at 19:00 New York time. Samsung would live stream the event on their official YouTube channel as always.
