Sony PS4 to hits Indian shores on 6th January; priced at Rs 39,990


Japanese electronics giants Sony announces most awaited gaming console PS4 in India for Rs 39,990. and will be available across the country from January 6 onwards.

It was earlier launched internationally in November for $399 which company claims to sell a million units on day one and two million in under two weeks.

The PS4 is powered by an eight-core AMD Jaguar/Kanin x86-64 CPU with 7870 Redon GPU and features 500GB of storage, 8GB of RAM and built-in Blu Ray drive. It also features connectivity include WiFi, an Ethernet port, Bluetooth, HDMI out, Aux, an S/PDIF optical audio out and two USB 2.0 ports.

It doesn’t include any pre-bundled games, but a user can select over 20 first and third-party games from the library like Knack and Killzone: Shadow Fall Eight priced between Rs 2,499 and Rs 4,499.

The PS4 include a DualShock4 move motion sensor, integrates second screens and a PlayStation Vita system that enables smartphones and tablets to connect gamers to the PlayStation ecosystem anywhere.

Sony is offering the Camera for Rs 4,999 and an additional controller will cost Rs 4,999.
